Vincent Villegas started working at Breathe California in the Fall of 2022. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a BA in Sociology in 2019 and then studied Public Policy in the university’s graduate program from 2019 to 2020. At the university, he organized and volunteered for campaigns with others on campus for social, economic and environmental justice. He also worked on campus on the university’s graduation initiative and helped develop incentives for students. Since graduating, he has written for a community journalism website, guided kids at a high ropes course, and assisted families in their applications for rental relief in a local non-profit. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing in his kickball league, writing, and going for walks in midtown with his friends.
