Ralph is currently President of the Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS), which has about 20 member organizations, including Breathe California Sacramento Region. Ralph retired 5 years ago from the California Air Resources Board’s Research Division, working in its Quality and Climate Science Section.

Since retirement, Ralph has also taught chemistry part-time at UC Davis and Sacramento City College.

Prior to his work at CARB, Ralph worked at the Coalition for Clean Air.
