Melissa Hill has been a Yuba City resident since 2012. She began working with Breathe in 2022 as a Food Scraps and Recycling Program Manager. Melissa previously worked as a state preschool teacher mentoring the youngest learners in her community. She graduated from Yuba Community College with a Social and Behavioral Science and Early Childhood Education degree. Melissa is continuing her education at CSU East Bay to obtain her BA in Human Development. She has a passion for helping her community, and when she can, she volunteers her time at her local church, passing out meals to the homeless. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and taking her dog, Oliver, to the lake.
