Taylor Beckwith

Tobacco Control Programs Manager

Taylor Beckwith began working as the Tobacco Control Programs Manager with Breathe in Fall
of 2020. She graduated from Whittier College in Spring 2020 with a BA in Psychology and
minors in Public Health and Social Work. She is in the process of continuing her education by
attending the University of Florida Online to obtain her Master of Public Health degree. Taylor’s
passion for tobacco control and public health began at a young age when she joined a local
TUPE coalition. From there, Taylor was able to aid in the drafting and implementation of
Whittier College’s Tobacco-Free policy and was an intern with the Compadres for Tobacco-Free
LA County Project where she worked on tobacco-free policies at local community colleges.
When Taylor is not advocating against tobacco and working in the community, she enjoys
spending time with her rescue dog Kay, going to play golf, and completing DIY projects.
