Bill Mueller
Bill Mueller is a small business owner, avid cyclist, consultant, teacher, researcher and writer. He is cofounder and partner in Integrated Communications Strategies, a boutique strategic advisory firm that serves leading businesses, governments, foundations, higher education, and nonprofits throughout California. ICS helps their clients make lasting improvements to their performance, set smart strategy, and achieve their goals. Before joining ICS, Bill was the CEO of Valley Vision, a highly respected civic leadership group driving local and statewide policy change. Prior to joining Valley Vision in 2005, Bill was a global business manager for Intel Corporation, the political and policy leader for a major business group in Sacramento, and worked both in Washington, DC, and in Sacramento for elected officials. He has won numerous awards, including the Peter McCuen Award for Civic Entrepreneurs (2019) by the Sacramento Metro Chamber, the CSU Sacramento Distinguished Alumni award (2018), and the Unity Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Sacramento Urban League (2011). In addition to volunteering on Breathe’s board, Bill serves on the board of the California Asian Chamber of Commerce and Comstock’s Editorial Board. He has three adult-aged sons and lives in Lotus, CA, with Rachel and their dog Lion.
