VOLUNTEER HERE

After much deliberation and scrutiny of fire and smoke maps and weather forecasts, we have made the decision to POSTPONE the 36th Annual Breathe Bike Trek to Saturday, October 15. The current air quality in Loomis and points east from the Mosquito Fire has been off the charts unhealthy and forecasts show it to become worse on Friday with gradual clearing during the day on Saturday. As a lung health organization, we cannot in good conscience expect our riders, volunteers and staff to endure these conditions.

We look forward to meeting up with you all on October 15 at Loomis Basin Park. Everything should still be the same (routes, rest stops, catering, cantina, massage, etc.) just one month later and hopefully cooler riding conditions. Fingers crossed for no new fires.

Ride for Clean Air

This one-day ride will take cyclists on beautiful rural routes in the Loomis and Lincoln areas in Placer County. Choose from four different routes with various levels of hill riding, including a metric century. We will provide a light breakfast before the ride begins, rest stops on every route, a catered bar-b-que lunch, a cantina, music and visiting with old and new friends.

$25 registers you and provides access to Race Roster, your personalized fundraising platform and opportunity to participate in three training rides leading up to the Bike Trek. Beyond that, there is a minimum donation of $125. We encourage you to ask friends and family to help you reach the minimum $125 goal and beyond! This ride is a great opportunity for corporate team building or just a fun excuse to hang out with your cycling friends.
