Is Breathe California a statewide organization?

Breathe California Sacramento Region is one of five organizations in the statewide Breathe California Alliance. We are all working to improve lung health in California; however, each office operates independently and develops services and programs according to the needs of their local communities.

How is Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails funded?

As a grassroots-oriented 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Breathe is funded through a variety of sources, including: public and private grants, corporate sponsorships, fundraising events, individual donors, and planned giving through memorials, honorariums, trusts and bequests.

How do I get Breathe's programs in my child's school?

Does Breathe provide direct medical services, respiratory equipment or prescription assistance?

No, Breathe does not provide any direct medical services, respiratory equipment or prescription assistance at this time. Our current programs focus on lung disease prevention and education.

Does Breathe offer any student volunteer or internship opportunities?

Absolutely! Students interested in formal internships for school credit should email a resume and cover letter describing their academic interests and future career goals to for consideration.
