AARP Sacramento Mayoral Forum

AARP Mayor Forum

On April 26, 2016, Breathe partnered with AARP-CA, WALK Sacramento, the Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates, and the Sacramento Housing Alliance on a Livable Communities Mayor Forum in Sacramento.

The forum took place at the historic Memorial Auditorium and the goal was to elevate the issues of walkability, bikability, housing, recreational activities, and safety in the race for Sacramento's next mayor.

AARP Mayor Forum

Angelique Ashby, Darryl Steinberg, and Tony Lopez gave great answers that give us hope that whoever wins will be a champion for the type of land use that creates cleaner air by getting people out of their cars and ensuring housing options that are close to employment, educational, and recreational activities
